The fans have buggered off, the games are over and life returns to a relative normality…30 days of beach, sun and vuvuzela’s is a bloody long time even if you are gettin some dollar for it. Dave and the boys enjoyed ever minute of it and I bet they wont be back at Beach park for atleast a few days.

What an awesome week at Beach Park. Footie fans everywhere, sun baked foreigners and all the riding you can handle. To finish it off we had a BANGER Skate Jam on the Saturday and BANGER BMX Jam on the Sunday. Once again mad props to Zoo York and Rock Star for hooking us up.
Everyone knows Durban is where its at! The last 2 weeks have been pretty hard on some of the crew…sun, sand, babes and cruisin’ beach park all day. sheesh the life….
If you didn’t know it, we are running Demo’s everyday of the week at Beach Park for the duration of the Fifa World Cup(more on that here), on Saturdays and Sundays we have lil Jams with freebies from BMX Direct, Rock Star, Zoo York and wads of cash for those who wanna enter both skate and BMX.
Big news for BMX Direct this week! BMX Direct have been appointed to sort out the Fifa Fan Fest @ Durban Beach Park with activities during the entire 2010 World Cup.
Yup, we run the show from June 11th all the way up to July 11th. Our World Cup BMX Team looks like this, 4 Pro level BMX riders Blaze, Stuart, Darren and Dave as well as 3 Pro level Skaters joining in. There are various activities that we have planned for the 4 weeks of the World Cup and its going to keep you lot busy and out of shit these holidays. Get that bike sorted and put ya rubber to concrete ‘cos there is some good times to be had!
