A couple weeks ago we heard a rumor that some Durban skaters had cleared a section of a drainage ditch down near the Bluff. It wasn’t long before a mission was on the go. Packed with shovels, brooms, camera bags and van full of riders, we went forth and conquered!
The smell of this place takes a while to get used to and not ending up in the water becomes an art in itself. The skaters (Brett Shaw & crew) did a good job of clearing a narrow piece of ground near the steeper side of the tranny. For us riders to get the most out of it, we would need to clear an even wider part of the concrete bank. After 2 missions to this awesome new riding spot we had cleared a substantial area and gotten some rad photo’s for this feature.
