As always Durban is the place to be. Weather- perfect, vibe- perfect, ocean nearby- perfect. The skaters cleared off the park around 12, BMX dudes moved in and started having a blast. The turnout wasnt great but the atmosphere was friggin amazeballs. We cooked a Lil dudes Jam session for a couple minutes giving the kids a chance to kick it around the park, giving them a chance to show Mom how cool they can be on a bike. Because of the variety of skills in the the Open Class riders group, we split into them into 2 sub-groups; the Style Cats and the Trick Ferrets. Lets just say the judging was damn tricky. Charl on the Mic, medics at hand, we were good to go. The photo’s below should fill the gaps in the story. An hour later we finished off with a Prize giving, pretty much everyone whom entered went home with something. Shout out to Fox South Africa for the moola and merch.
